영남대학교 정치외교학 박사, 영남대학교 정치외교학과 겸임교수, 오피니언라이브 빅데이터센터장이다. 주요 저서 및 논문으로 “토픽모델링을 이용한 포퓰리즘 뉴스 분석”(2021), “Towards the operationalization of controversial news: a study of online news articles and reader comments during the 2017 presidential election in South Korea”(2018), “2017년 한국 대통령 선거 캠페인의 논쟁적 이슈 구조” 등이 있다.
