인물소개

캐나다 사이몬프레이저대학 특훈교수다. 주요 연구 영역은 초국가적 문화연구(한류), 글로벌라이제이션, 문화정치경제학 등이다. 현재 『Routledge Research in Digital Media and Culture in Asia』 북시리즈 편집인으로 활동한다. The Transnational Culture and Digital Technology Lab을 운영한다. 『New Korean Wave: transnational cultural power in the age of social media』, 『Smartland Korea: mobile communication, culture and society』,『Artificial Intelligence in Cultural Production: Critical Perspectives on Digital Platforms』 등 30여 권의 책과 200여 편의 논문을 출간하였다.
