인물소개

홍익대학교 패션대학원·섬유미술패션디자인과 부교수다. 한양대학교 의류학과 졸업 후, 영국 London College of Fashion에서 석사학위를, Royal College of Art에서 ‘Dress-scape’ 개념을 중심으로 한 실기 기반 연구로 박사학위를 받았다. 질적 연구 방법론을 적용해 사회 문화적 관점에서 바라보는 패션 디자인과 교육, 지속 가능한 패션이 주된 연구 분야다. “Restructuring situated bodily practices: Understanding relationship of dress, body, and identity in virtual dressing practice”(2024), “Re-engineering nubi: Design-driven approach to cultural sustainability in Korean fashion/textile practice”(2024), “Traditional fashion practice and cultural sustainability”(2023), “Development of education for sustainable fashion design using a challenge-based approach”(2023) 등 다수의 논문을 A&HCI, SCOPUS, KCI 학술지에 게재했다. TEXTILE: Cloth and Culture, 복식문화연구, 복식, 한국패션디자인학회지, 패션비즈니스 등의 학술지에서 논문 심사를 맡고 있다.
