덴버 신학교(Denver Seminary)에서 신약성경을 가르치는 권위 있는 교수이다. 저서로는 『복음서의 역사적 신빙성』(솔로몬), 『마태복음 주석』, 『Jesus and the Gospels:An Introduction and Survey』, 『Neither Poverty Nor Riches: A Biblical Theology of Possessions』, 『Contagious Holiness: Jesus'Meals with Sinners』 등이 있다.
