인물소개

마케트(Marquette) 대학교와 베를린 자유대학교(Freie Universitaet Berlin), 토론토(Toronto) 대학교에서 공부했다. 토론토 대학교 종교심리학과 교수였으며, 현재는 캐나다 온타리오에 있는 워털루(Waterloo) 대학교 성 바울 대학(St. Paul’s College)의 종교심리학과 명예교수이다. 국제 게슈탈트협회(International Gestalt Association)의 심리치료사 자격을 취득, 심리치료사로 활동하고 있으며, 주요 연구 분야는 ‘꿈 분석과 종교심리학’이다. 저서로는 Flesh As Transformation Symbol in the Theology of Anselm of Canterbury: A Historical and Transpersonal Perspectives (1985), Dreams in the Psychology of Religion (1988), The Religious Dreamworld of Apuleius Metamorphoses: Recovering a Forgotten Hermeneutic (1999), Religion and Spirituality in the Life Cycle (2005) 등이 있다.
