인물소개

미국 예일대 언어학 박사다. 경력으로 캐나다 토론토대 언어인류학과 교수 역임, IPA Phon 폰트 디자인 등이 있다. 저서로 Theoretical and Practical Phonetics(1991), The Sjounds of Language : An Introduction to Phonetics(2000), Writing Systems : A Linguistics Approach(2003) 등이 있다.
