인물소개

멕시코 치아파스 주에 있는 남부국경대학(El Colegio de la Frontera Sur) 대학원의 농생태학 교수로 Land Research Action Network의 코디네이터로 활동하고 있다. 저서로 『Food is Different: Why We Must Get the WTO out of the Agriculture』(Global Issues, 2006)(《식량주권》, 시대의창, 2008)가 있으며, 공저로 『World Hunger, 12 Myths』(Food First Books, 1998)(《굶주리는 세계》, 창비, 2003), 『Promised Land: Competing Visions of Agrarian Reform』(Food First Book, 2006) 등이 있다.
